At Sunshine Disability Care Services we offer a range of quality support to people with all types of disabilities. Whether you want to access the community, require personal care assistance, domestic support or need in-home support day or night, we have a team of excellent staff waiting to assist you. Our person centred approach means that we focus on the wants and needs of our participants including matching our participants with their ideal support worker.
What tasks can we help you with?
We can support you with lots of different tasks.
Maybe you need one of our Support Workers to come to your home to help with morning or evening routines? Or maybe you want to learn to cook? Or maybe you just need an extra hand every now and then?
It’s up to you.

We can! Our Support Workers can provide these supports in a range of places including in your own home.
Can you help me learn how to do these tasks on my own?
Let us know what you want to learn and can help make it happen. Over time, this may mean you need less support from us or other service providers.

Assistance with Daily Life (ADL)

School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) & Tertiary Study Support
Assistance with Daily Life (ADL) is a support that helps you learn and complete everyday tasks. Things like cooking, cleaning, using money, catching public transport, and more!
These supports are provided one on one and can be offered in a range of places including a Support Worker coming to your own home.
They are super flexible so you can slot these in a time and place that works best for you.

Once you’ve found your new home, we can give you the support you need to live there.
From day-to-day tasks to build your skills right through to overnight support.
- Cleaning and laundry
- Nutrition and cooking
- Personal care such as showering and dressing

- Taking up a hobby
- Learning to catch public transport
